There is something beyond words
that happens when I ponder
Our journey together.
There is a bleeding heart, that bleeds
when your heart bleeds.
There is a soul that often moves
freely through you, stopping to heal
and be healed.
There is a love here that is beyond
the constraints of time.
I question not your presence on my path,
I know Love in It's perfection
is lighting our way,
and for today
I choose to stay in that light,
to look toward it even when I feel darkness.
Because every dark hour yields a miraculous moment
with you.

A note from the author this was written for the love of my life, Melissa, sometime in the first year of us being together. i still feel this way about her to this day...this moment.
