Why am I here? Where am I going? Our questions about why we are here and where we are going are uncomfortable, but they are real questions for every human being. If you do not ask them, and allow them to be ongoing questions, you will never know for yourself what it's all about. Usually, you try to answer these questions with your mind, and with a specific goal in mind. This leads to indirect knowledge, or that learned in childhood. It leads to conditioned knowledge. Do you ever allow yourself to question, to have a burning question, and not put out the flame quickly with the first answer that you hear, so that you can return to your sense of comfort and security? With sincerity, you can let the inquiry deepen in you, in your heart, in your belly, in your being. You can let our being be a question mark, a yearning, a motiveless search that does not depend on any ideas about going somewhere. Just let it be. Let it consume you.
