What is Involved in Studying the Diamond Approach?
At other times, students meet regularly in small groups where they continue to learn about the Diamond Approach and also process personal issues which arise. Groups vary in size and how regularly they meet depending on location, student need and the level of work. In locations, where there may not be a group, students work individually with Jean and attend the twice yearly workshops and retreats. Students may also contact Jean in the US for regular sessions and/or as needed. From time to time, other Teachers from the Ridhwan Foundation may also visit for workshops and individual sessions. After a certain level of work, students may also attend retreats and workshops with the Ridhwan Foundation in the US. Who can study the Diamond Approach? Students are welcome from all walks of life, religious and spiritual traditions. Men and women of all nationalities, creeds and sexual orientation may participate at all levels of the organisation. Is this Psychotherapy or a System of Healing? The Diamond Approach is neither a form of psychotherapy nor a system of healing. Although this work is supported by approaches from both western psychotherapy and ancient spiritual traditions, the Work is primarily a spiritual path. Therefore, when healing or other kinds of benefits result, they are the by-products of the unfoldment of the soul in its journey towards its true home - spiritual maturity and completeness. What about Religious or Spiritual Beliefs? The Diamond Approach is not an ideology or belief system. It aims not to have beliefs about reality, but to assist students to know reality directly and with complete certainty. Many students continue to deepen their own religious or spiritual traditions while studying the Diamond Approach. How can I learn more about the Diamond Approach? If you would like to know more about the Diamond Approach and Diamond Essence Australia, you can:
Introductory workshops are usually held over a weekend and focus on a core topic of the Diamond Approach. Recent topics include The Enneagram, Compassion and Opening the Door to Essence. These workshops are also attended by ongoing students. Included in the price of the weekend workshop is a small group meeting and a private session with Jean Berwick. By experiencing all three of these processes you will have a basic understanding of how students work with the Diamond Approach. There are fees for all Diamond Essence programs. These fees are very reasonable and compare favourably with other personal growth systems. There are two TERMS: Term One is from November to May, Term Two is from June to October. The exact cost of each term might vary slightly depending on the number and style of retreats/workshops. Students entering into their SECOND TERM are encouraged to commit to a payment schedule in order to support Jean's visits and the ongoing development of the work here in Australia. There are a range of payment schedules. |
