Opt-In
Opt-in means that permission has been granted by the recipient. Hence the people who receive your newsletter have declared an interest in your company's activities. They may be clients, stock brokers, interested shareholders or just curious investors.
Unlike news placed on a web site, emailed newsletters do not require the enquirer to periodically check to see if the news has been updated.

Templates from RTS are written to achieve maximum consistency in appearance across a range of email agents. The code has been optimized for email (see FAQ for more details). Additionally, we design to accommodate various widths of viewing windows. |
Distribution
We can help you choose the distribution method best suited to your needs. You will have to send both a HTML version and plain text version because a few recipients will prefer plain text. (This happens mainly as a result of the recipient using an old email agent.) Conversion from your HTML version to plain text is very simple.
The various distribution methods offered by RTS are:
- using only MS Outlook or MS Outlook Express
- using third party software we install in your office
- subscription to an established list host company.

Factors affecting your choice are:
- size of your list
- time you are willing to spend maintaining the subscriber lists
- your budget
- degree of independence required after the setup is completed
- which editing software you already have.
