SAILING ON THE ENTERPRISE - OCTOBER 1999

The 95th are, of course, old salts. The regiment had the unusual distinction of being on the same battlefield as not only Wellington and Napoleon but also the third great commander of the Napoleonic age - Nelson, at Copenhagen in 1801. The 95th was at Copenhagen again in 1807 but was engaged in combat only after an amphibious landing.

Random shots courtesy of John Haskell, 42nd Regt and Mr Kemel (senior) - regrettably, I was unable to be there.
