For this next stage, you will need a light-table. If you do not have one, you can create one with a glass coffee table with a lamp positioned underneath it. If you do not have a glass coffee table, you may have to utilise a window.
Take the final size rough, and tape it to your light-table with low tack tape. You can use ordinary sticky tape, but remove some of the glue from the tape first by sticking it to your finger a few times. You need to do this so that when you remove the tape, it doesn't stick to the paper too much and tear it.
Next you tape a fresh sheet over the top of your final size rough, and use it as a template to do your final neat pencil work. The basic poses should not change here, but you will be adding all the details that the previous stages lacked. Carefully fill in details, and start from the left, if you are right handed, and work your way across and down, to avoid dragging your hand over bits that you have already drawn.
You will want to use a reasonably hard lead pencil for this stage, so that all your lines are crisp and clear. A 2H is probably a good lead to go for. Once this stage is finished, you should have a very clean polished image, which can be used to generate the final piece.
