Step #1: Grip the bottom portion of the LPR and unscrew it
counter-clockwise to remove it from the body. |
Step #2: Tap the
exposed hole on your palm to shake out the poppet, spring and LPR spacer. |
Step #3: Wipe the
poppet clean and apply a drop of light gun oil or Triflow. If you have a
delrin 07 valve poppet,
then apply a thin coat of dow 33 instead. |
Step #4: Hold your
Cyborg vertically and drop the poppet back into the valve. Follow this by
dropping the spring, and then the LPR spacer in that order. |
Step #5: Unscrew the
top portion of the LPR counter-clockwise. |
Step #6: Using a pair
of needle nose pliers, remove the LPR piston. |
Step #7: Remove all
old lube and debris from the LPR piston housing using a q-tip or scrunched
piece of paper towel. |
Step #8: Wipe all the
old lube and debris off the LPR piston using a paper towel. |
Step #9: Apply a thin
coat of lube, about half a pea amount, to the LPR piston o-rings. |
Step #10: Cut the
cotton head off a q-tip. Apply a small amount of lube to the end of the
shaft (quarter of a pea-size). Use the lubed q-tip shaft to apply a thin layer of lubricant to the inside of the LPR piston housing. |
Step #11: Replace the
LPR piston into the piston housing. Align the small spring onto the piston,
and place the silver bit ontop. |
Step #12: Lightly lube
the threads of the LPR housing cap, and then screw it clockwise into the LPR
housing. |
Step #13: Screw the LPR back into your Cyborg’s
body. This concludes LPR maintenance. |
