I am a geophysicist by trade, but I spend a great deal of time daydreaming of surfing or art at my desk.   In my spare time I can be found surfing some of the local Perth surf spots or dabbling in arty stuff when it’s flat.  When it’s really flat I occasionally throw on the budgie smugglers to be a lifesaver at Scarborough Beach. 

I live with my wife and daughter in Scarborough as close to the beach as I can be without getting wet.

One of my greatest passions is surfing and I love hitting the waves with a group of friends who share the same stoke of surfing that I do.  No matter what the conditions, just getting out in the ocean gives me a real buzz and getting just one good wave makes a cold dawn patrol worthwhile.

I have formed the company "MacDreams"  to allow me to release the book "Alphabet Surf" and share  my love of surfing with other parents and their kids.
