Hanna Zavecz Sunday, November 14, 2004. ourWNBL.com was run by Shawn and Misch, but is now defunct. 2004 AIS graduate Hanna Zavecz has been in the States since August 26th, leaving home just five days after her 19th birthday, and is enjoying the college life at the Univeristy of Wyoming. She was named the 2004 Big V Youth Player of the Year and in to the Big V All-Star 5 team for her efforts in the ABL before heading to college. Hanna found time between studies and basketball to answer a few questions with us. |

| Hanna: | I've been great, although it's a little weird waking up and everything being covered in snow but it's all good. |

| ourWNBL.com: | Who has been the biggest inspiration to you as a player and person? | |
| Hanna: | I don't have one in particular, my family and friends are always supportive and believe in me, that gives me confidence and inspires me to do well and make the most of my opportunities. |

| ourWNBL.com: | Why did you choose the University of Wyoming? | |
| Hanna: | The quality of the people and the program, I knew I was going to be looked after and enjoy myself. |

| ourWNBL.com: | What is the biggest cultural difference between home and the states? | |
| Hanna: | The food, everything is full of fat and very tempting. |

| ourWNBL.com: | If you could have one thing from home in Australia that you forgot to bring to the US, what would it be? | |
| Hanna: | My family and dog - Bonnie. |

| ourWNBL.com: | Calling home must get expensive at times. What's the largest phone bill you've had? | |
| Hanna: | I've had some expensive ones but I've found a good card now. |

| ourWNBL.com: | How do you find Joe Legerski as your new coach? | |
| Hanna: | He's great, he is very knowledgeable about the game and the way in which he teaches it is fun, he challenges me everyday. |

| Hanna: | The WNBL. |

| ourWNBL.com: | What are your goals for your first season at college and do you have any predictions as to how the team will fare? | |
| Hanna: | I just want to make the most of the court time I get. Our team is ranked pretty low in the conference, but I think we can surprise a few people. |

| Hanna: | Not really, but I worry if I'm not nervous before a game. |

| Hanna: | I don't have one, I've been trash talked once and that was in under 14's. |

| Hanna: | Hehe they're fine. |

| Hanna: | Travelling and working overseas. |
