APATASAURUS FACTS
Apatasaurus used to be called Brontosaurus. Scientists realised later that the dinosaur they called Brontosaurus was the same as the Apatasaurus.
Apatasaurus was really big. It wasn't as big as Brachiosaurus, Ultrasaurus and others, but it still weighed 30 tons. It was up to 21 metres long and12 metres high.
Even though it was big, it still had to be careful of meat-eaters like Allosaurus.
A grown Apatasaurus had lots of big stones its stomach to help grind up its food.
It ate a lot of food - probably over one ton of food every day !
