COMPSOGNATHUS FACTS
Did you know that Compsognathus was only a little dinosaur? He was only about the size of a really big chicken or turkey !
Compsognathus was a very fast little hunter. He ate meat from lizards and ate insects and other small creatures.
Compsognathus grew to about one hundred centimetres in length and 30 centimetres in height.
Some scientists call Compsognathus the 'chicken dinosaur !' This is because he had some bird-like features.
It is also because some scientists think that Compsognathus laid eggs. But nobody is really sure.
