SPINOSAURUS FACTS
Spinosaurus was as big as Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was a huge meat-eater with a set of spines on its back that made it look like a sail.
Spinosaurus was fifteen metres long, and was probably just a bit lighter than Tyrannosaurus.
Scientists think that its head was longer and thinner than Tyrannosaurus' skull. But it still had sharp long teeth !
The sail on its back might have been to help cool or warm itself.
Spinosaurus has so far only been discovered in Northern Africa. Its front arms were probably bigger than Tyrannosaurus' front arms.
