Ohh!. Kinky Mini likes Leather.
Well she is off to the trimmers to have the roof lining done, carpents, the front / back seats redone, door panels, boot floor.
You name it, basically everything
Took some pics of the floor as its probably the last time I ever see it like that.
Crammed in the front seats ready for transport.
Another road trip. Got the same guy as last time and he was quiet amazed on how things are going and how good it looks.
The material has been ordered in and the seats stripped (the back seats are in the background of the pic below)
The carpet has been put in along with the handbrake garter. The carpet (specially ordered in) was a perfect fit.
Back quarter panels have been covered.
The roof lining has been made though still has to be glued in.
The door cards have been made
and are a perfect fit. They will be trimmed up this week (or next)
The back seats have been done and are looking good. (if not a bit dusty)
My brother (who loves giving me toy mini cars) gave me this great easter egg. (Many thanks bro)
Spent a good few hours cleaning up the grill and masking it off.
Then painted it up so all the inserts are black, which looked good when all the tape was removed and the badge bolted back on.
The front seats have been done and believe me they look awesome. I also had a Union Jack embroidered into the seat.
Its going to look good when its all in the car.
The door trims have been done (aswell as the head rests)
And my wheels come today which I'm very happy with.
The door cards are all fitted and the various trim put on.
The pocket cards have also been put in (very simple)
Bought the stereo yesterday read to be fitted when I get the car back.
Well all of the trim has been finished and the seats all fitted along with the seat belts.
The Red and the Black complement each other quiet fell. Cant wait to get it back so I can fit everything else.
The roof lining came up nice. Scotts did a really nice job on the entire car. Many thanks to Brad and Jack.
Got her home from the trimmers and put on the new wheels aswell as the side rubbers.
Put on the newly painted grill and even took it for a bit of a spin to bed in the brakes before adjustment.
Even little Brock liked being around the Mini
As I had nothing better to do today I complely relaid out the shed which took a
few hours but It has given me a
lot of extra room when the mini is parked. Was also a good time to throw some stuff out.
Today was spent putting in the sterio (wanted to do it before putting in the glass). Took a few hours mainly due to cutting the
holes in the back. If you see the original pics then entire back had to be replated so it was several layiers thick at points.
Went in quiet nicely thanks to my brothers hard work. I also put on some nice shinny window winders.
The stereo all lit up and working. Also put on the steering wheel now that we have basically stopped getting under the dash.
