Painting starts 31st October 2009.

Hopfully this is what it will look like. I think all Sonex,s should be yellow.

First step undercoat the Wheel Fairings and rub back.

The cowling ready for colour , first picture is the cowling rubbed back after the first undercoat and then with its second undercoat. I have not used a spray gun before ,I am in unknown territory here. The learning curve is very steep. The filler worked well, I filled all the holes that were drilled at the front.

Finally made it. This is 2 Pack yellow , the protective gear you have to wear to use this stuff is unbelievable but I did not get any on me or breathed any fumes so I think I will live. Now just the wing and tail tips and it's out to the field.

Painting done , NOT 100% professional but I learnt a lot. Experimental sign on spelled correctly hopfully. It looks a bit orange inside , I wanted yellow. Manuafactures plate on. (Not filled out , I have to do the weight and balance yet.)
