I would have purchased the Sonex separator if it had been available when I bought my kit. I had my design half built when it came out so I kept going. It took me weeks to design and couple of hours to build. Material cost $20.00

All the parts before assembly. The top where it connects to the engine. Next shot with it split in the middle you can see how the fumes enter the lower chamber they then travel up through the holes into the top chamber which will be filled with stainless steel washing up scourers. Then out the top tube and down to exit to the atmosphere. There is a small drain tap on the bottom of the storage chamber. Last shot with it assembled. All I need now is a mounting bracket to mount it to the firewall.

All finished with scourers and mounting brackets. Top and bottom glued on, the centre section is a nice tight fit and will not be glued. I want to be able clean it out and put new scourers in from time to time.
