Pretty much of everyone refers to Fremantle as " a Freo ". I do not have any idea why, and I lived and worked here during 20 years! FreoNet is the place to discover what continues here, at all events.

toujours le bruit nifty et les visuels, de si désiré) est disponible

Here are four (of many) useful websites addressing this not inconsiderable problem. They provide tips on "browser accessibility" and HTML error-correction, in particular for those webpage designers who have a weakness for overdoing graphics, and for novices like myself ... I wish somebody had told me about these ages ago!

This page is dedicated with love to my gal.
She is France Chevalier, from Canada, and has just returned home from spending Christmas and the holidays with me in Fremantle, and we are currently trying hard to work our way through the maelstrom that is the Australian Department of Immigration's requirements for her return, so we can marry and live happily ever after. (So there is some truth to the rumours about how people fall in love over the Internet!)
Needless to say, my friends, neighbours and I were all very sad to see her leave, and we can't wait for her return.
France is now spending some time with her parents in Montreal, before returning to learn the Way of the Australian Babe (an ancient Mystical Order of Women, involving kangaroos and chilled beer :-), so let's all wish her luck! I do hope she knows how to barbeque!
France was the Canadian office of Sub Pop Records ('Nirvana' amongst many others), and its recent, sad closure is Canadian Music's loss, but Australia's gain!
