FREMANTLE, Christmas 2001: Well, it's that time of the year again where we try to recap what happened in the past 12 months! What a task.
Aside from applying what he's learnt at TAFE, he's always extending his skills and computing knowledge by spending many hours surfing the web in search of the latest technology. Christopher is slowly mastering the new stuff in Windows XP, which he says he absolutely loves. He's finally built some up-to-date powerful computers for each of us, and we're thoroughly networked. We've saved a lot of money in dial-up phone bills, since we share an Internet connection too, and it's lots of fun to send little messages to each other. France recently got hooked on a new hobby, rubber stamping , and has developed a little website to showcase her work and the cards she receives while exchanging with other rubber stampers. She's met a few Australian people that way, it's about time she socialised! Her baby food website still gets lots of visitors and keep new mums very happy. Véronique and Cordelia turned three this past October and are now little girls and no longer babies. They now have their own beds, and sometimes even manage to sleep through the night without waking up. France and Christopher cannot wait to have one long 12 hour night of undisturbed sleep, but that will have to wait. The girls love playing in their little pool, going to the park with Daddy, going to Fremantle on the bus with Mummy, and love to get cuddles very often! They are very healthy and we consider ourselves very lucky.
We had a few overseas visitors again this year, another of France's cousin Catherine (the sister of Carol-Ann who came last year) and France's Mum, and we are expecting one of France's very best friends, Barbara, to arrive on Christmas Day with another friend called Karen. Barbara visited us in Fremantle when the girls were only 10 weeks old. We hope you like these pictures - unfortunately we don't have very many pictures of Christopher or France, but the picture of the girls shows them in their best moods.
