13/3/11 – Congratulations to fencers who did so well at the WAFA
U15/U17 #1. Sasha won the competition, with Kyra Johnston and Gareth Capon receiving
bronze medals in their first state competition. See the results page for more.
24/1/11 – New timetable for 2011 has been released. Please check

05/1/11 – Congratulations to Gareth Capon and Zen Rawlins who won
the ÔWinning StartÕ Teacher/Student Award at the VRI Fencing Club Junior
Development Camp in Melbourne. The Gareth and Zen received recognition after
fencing/teaching together for only 1 year but achieving a high standard of
excellence. The award was presented by Elli Wellings (camp organiser and
previous national champion), David Mok (National Foil Coach) and Neil Hick
(Maitre and National Selector). WELL DONE GARETH!
12/12/10 - REMINDER Last official day of fencing for the year next
Saturday the 18th of December.
11/12/10 - Congratulations to ZSF fencers for their remarkable success
at the Western Australian Fencing Association 2010 end of year awards. Fencers
from Zen School of Fencing won awards under the following categories:
Boys 2010 U/13 Foil State Champion: Jay English
Boys 2010 U/15 Epee State Champion: Sasha John
Chahaiya Kilpatrick (runner up)
Boys 2010 U/17 Epee State Champion: Sasha John
Mens 2010 U/20 Epee State Champion: Sasha John
WAFA 2010 Most Potential Award: Sasha John
