Gallery: Tolkien

Tolkien's trilogy has long been an inspiration. Numerous calligraphers have tackled LOTR, most notably Donald Jackson, and here are a few of my efforts. It's a great excuse to play around with Tolkien's Elvish alphabet Tengwar (the exotic script in gold following a circle). I see this as an ongoing series of works.
