Quake2 Weapon drop config creator

Instructions

  1. Backup your config.cfg in each mod directory under quake 2 (especially under baseq2/ and tourney/ etc)
  2. Select your preferences in the form below..
  3. Click the Generate config commands button. This will create your config commands in the text area to the right of the form.
  4. Copy all the text in the text area and paste into a text file, save it as a your_filename.cfg and put the file under quake2/baseq2/
  5. Edit your autoexec.cfg in each quake2 mod directory (eg baseq2, tourney etc) and type in the following text at the end of the file: exec your_filename.cfg

A) Choose your weapon keys:
Blaster: Chaingun:
Machinegun: Rocket Launcher:
Shotgun: Railgun:
Super Shotgun: Hyperblaster:
Grenades: BFG10K:
Grenade Launcher: Powershield:


B) Choose how you want to drop stuff:
+ weapon key to drop the weapon
+ weapon key to drop the weapon's ammo
