Practical Examinations (Medals)

Pupils are trained in the correct technique to achieve medals; Examinations coaching can be in 3 different forms.

1. Private / Individual Lessons

2. Group Courses (approximately 12 weeks)

3. Form Your Own Group

Pupils are taught timing, footwork, feet positions, alignment, rise and fall, amount of turn, poise and holds. The previous points all contribute to pupils learning the correct action and movement.

All exams are done with Dance Masters International Association Inc DMIA has a very comprehensive medal system that caters for very young children through to seniors and from beginners to advanced dancers. The studio has a 100% pass rate with over 6,500 candidates achieving medals during the previous 27 years.

Theory Examinations

Training is available for professional teachers to gain their theory degrees and for amateur dancers to attain their theory grades.
