Slacker
Yes, I'm a slacker. It's been a busy month, and I must admit I have neglected my blog. And here, Jackie Hosking has been so kind as to list it in her
article on Blogs at Writing 4 Success.
Things I have been doing this month:
- My Roadshow. I've been running rehearsals for "Who Am I", to be performed on the evening of 27 August at Canning Vale Chapel in Perth, Western Australia. Free to attend.
It's been hard work getting the rehearsals together and sorting out the actors et al. Michael, who plays title role of Charlie Mouse and Zack who plays Dog are excellent! (I just had to mention that here.)
- I was involved in the OWW's "World's Strongest Writer Marathon" I met my word goal,
almost met my day goal and, if non-fiction counts, met my production goal.
- Did I mention I wraise babies? We bred for intelligence, and now I'm regretting it. Lady Rose and Lady Frances are driving me nuts with their precocity. Oh, I'm sure I'll be most grateful for their intelligence
later, but the toddler's ability to cook her own breakfast is not to be desired.
- I had a very nasty case of stomach flu. It was just like being pregnant all over again.
I promise I'll put up at least two entries for August. Call me on it if I haven't.
