Know that things will happen when you've got enough faith!

Susie's mother has told her she must clean her room. "But I can't clean my room," she complains, citing witches, trolls and spiders as her reasons for being unable to clean her room. Her mother refuses to buy into her nonsense and tells her if she just has enough faith, she will be able to clean her room.

Despite the discouragement of witches, trolls and spiders, and the tempting enticements of the Sun, the Wind, and singing Flowers, Susie manages to clean her room--although it takes her quite a while!

This is a Roadshow musical I wrote for the Rockingham Ward's roadshow in 2002. Since we're not going to use the script again, I've decided to let you use it. (The music, however, I may recycle again.) "Susie, Clean Your Room" is covered by the Chocolate Copyright. You are allowed to download the script, or the script and music together, for your private use. If you use any part of the script or music for ANY public performance, I charge a chocolate royalty.     Notes: Originally, "Susie, CYR" had two dance numbers by the Four Seasons, showing the passage of time. Since the music used for the original production was not my original composition, I have not included it here. I used music from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons - Spring" and the traditional Irish tune "The Irish Washerwoman". If you can show me concrete proof that these are currently in the public domain (Washerwoman is, dunno about Vivaldi), I will let you have them for use with the musical. Otherwise, you're free to use music of your own choice, or leave the dance out entirely.
    I have also made some melodic changes to Waltz of the Cats, as someone pointed out that the melody had an eerie similarity to Chim Chim Cheree from "Mary Poppins". Funny; I never noticed that while writing it. Anyhow, to not risk a copyright violation, you get the lovely changed version. I think I like it, as it gives the witches more an opportunity to harmonise.
