Online Writing Workshop

Biography

Heidi Wessman Kneale was born in one of the United States. She spent much of her youth in creative pursuits from music and theatre to sewing and painting and, of course, writing.

Her first publication was a Fantasy poem in a literary magazine in 1989.

While she loves science dearly and originally majored in Biology (genetics), eventually her love of Fine Arts won her over and she earned her BA in Film and Music.

Later she moved to Australia where she continues to pursue those things she loves best.

She writes non-fiction of all kinds and fiction, primarily Science Fiction & Fantasy and Romance, with occasional forays into Horror. Novels are her favourite form to write, though they take an awfully long time. She has written novels, novellas, short stories, musicals, plays, screenplays, non-fiction articles, non-fiction books, paid blogs, web copy and more.

A member of the Online Writing Workshop since its inception in the early 1990's, she pursues the excellence of writing through improving her skills and collecting tools of the craft. Currently she is a Journeyman Writer.

About the Author
Heidi Wessman Kneale is an author of moderate repute. By day she works computer miracles for the local library. The wrest of the time she writes books and wraises babies.

Do not ask the author how she get her ideas, for she shall tell you she gets them from a post office box in Schenctady. Rather, ask her how she stops the ideas from flooding her head and begging to be released. As soon as she figures that out, she'll tell you.
"What I like about Kneale’s writing is that she executes it well."
--Paul Mannering, "Asif!"
"[Heidi Kneale's] got an energetic voice, and a good sense of humor..."
