To promote and extend Technology Education
in W.A.
To foster the exchange of ideas between people
interested in Design and Technology education on state, national
and international levels.
To act as a body representative of the teachers of Design
and Technology subjects in matters of educational interest to
those teachers.
To publish or otherwise make available materials of interest
and value to Design and Technology teachers.
To support the purposes of the "Australian Council
for Education though Technology" through affiliation with
that body and ensure that a State Committee of ACET is maintained
in WA.
To undertake any other activities aimed at promoting technology
education in the practical areas of schooling.
To foster fellowship amongst the members of the Association.
To provide means of professional development for members
through such events as conferences, meetings, lectures, study
groups and visits.
