Here we find out what's going on underneath and see how we get the "power" to the ground.
This is my lovely light alloy flywheel. Manufactured to my specs by Alloy Race Components in Melbourne. John does good work I highly recommend him. He also makes the EFI hardware for JTS. The face has been setup to run a Toyota 4AGE clutch assembly as I'm running a Celica alloy case T series 5 speed box.
Rear of flywheel.....not much to see here. The ring gear is an original one from my old cast flywheel the ARC removed and shrunk onto the new one.
This is the money shot. Check out the weight of the new alloy disc. I haven't weighed the clutch assy yet but that's next on the list of things.
Ceramic sprung centre plate. I went with a sprung centre as I was building a street car initially and this clutch was going into that. So I figured I'd use it here.
Pressure plate. Should have enough clamp force - 1800 lb
Ready to bolt in once I setup the clutch fork height.
This is what I believe to be a H145 diff. Its a welded centre 4.11:1 ratio. Note adjustable sway bar rod ends. Also centre link attached to top of centre.
