After the heartbreak that Charlie went through with Casper over the summer, Danny was there to pick up the pieces, trying to help her get over him which probably wasn't happening. He was there for her when she needed him. A shoulder to cry on. A person to listen to her express her feelings whether it was anger or hurt. He was there to endure it all. He knew he had a crush long before the incident went down with Charlie and Casper and now after seeing her hurt like she did, his crush for her has grown even deeper. His thoughts are covered with her, her smile, her laughter, her bright brown eyes. He tries to push it aside and say that he would get over it, but that is a lie. Everytime she comes around him, it's like his heart stops beating and his stops breathing. It's hard to keep his feelings her hidden. He would love to tell her exactly how he feels, but he fear that it would only mess up their frienship and that's something he doesn't want happening. So now he's just walking around with a crush on the one girl that he could never have.
