The same shop sold me some cowhide with a croc pattern. The vintage Mamiya leatherette was peeling
off and a bit smelly anyway. It was tricky to remove, but a bit of methylene chloride paint stripper removes
it in a jiffy. I still have a Mamiya 645 1000S to reskin, but that one looks really tricky. Lots of intricate
shapes, and it is glued on with the same shellac glue (so I can't remove the leatherette in one piece). Hmm.
