The van der Poel Family

This van der Poel family lives in a suburb of Perth, Western Australia and comprises Martin, Dianne, Sean, Glen and Heidi. We live in a bungalow style house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our house is constructed in double brick with a concrete floor and clay tiled roof. We live just at the bottom of the Darling Escarpment, a range of hills which runs from north to south along the eastern side of Perth. Perth is situated mainly on the coastal plain between the Indian Ocean and these hills. The Swan and Canning rivers run through Perth.

Our Travels

We enjoy travelling around our state, and occasionally to other states of Australia. Please feel free to join us by viewing some of our photographs - we enjoy the company.

	In 2001 we ventured overseas on our European Adventure!
	Earlier in 2001 we visited Augusta, on the south-west tip of Australia.
	It was 1998 when we visited the state of Victoria.
	We visited the north-west of Western Australia in 1996.
