A villa seen in Venice was the inspiration for this house; that and a scene in 'The Talented Mr Ripley". We watched that scene so many times, trying to peer past Matt Damon to see the bathroom from which he emerged.

Researched from Vitruvius and inspired by Palladio, the construction makes use of the fine craftsmen still plying their trades. True stucco shines in the sun and architraves were cast from door cases found locally. A labour of years, the interior displays fine marbles and the grounds use granites which have become the client's business. This is his display piece.
