Me Hi, you've found my home page! My name is Duncan Earley. I am almost 30 over 30 ;-( and I currently live in Perth, Western Australia, but was born in the UK and lived there until I was 16. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Australia. I majored in Computer Science and Information Technology Systems, but also took a number of psychology and maths units. Since finishing Uni back in 1998 I have been working as a Software Engineer. I have worked on many major application development projects including large relational database systems, B2B system integration, project management tools and customer relationship software. The projects have spanned each of the major platforms including Mainframe, Solaris, Windows and Linux.

My wife is Marie Armstrong. We met at 16 at Craigie Senior High School and went on to university together. We were married on February 29th .. Nice and easy to remember ;-)

Family

We are the proud parents of Sophie Mae and Benjamin William. We are so lucky to have 2 such great kids. They can be hard work sometimes, but are worth every minute. I look forward to watching them grow through there lives.

For fun I like to mess around with Linux, write software and listen to and record music. I usually  play a Fender Telecaster, but have a selection of other guitars. Check out a couple of my tracks -  The blues rock of ZOOM and the dance jazz of Sleepy head.

Also you may like to take a look at JavaSQL a small lightweight but powerful SQL query analyser I put together. Or if you're into games you might what to check out the mods I have made for Supreme Commander including a skirmish AI.

Sophie Mae

As well as growing up in England and traveling all over Australia I have also toured through Europe and down the west coast of America and across to New York. Hopefully a visit to Japan is next to enjoy their food, culture and maybe get some skiing in!

Cheers

Duncan
