Mary Parker

Mary Parker is standing at the back in the four generation photograph, which was taken about 1898-1900.  With her is her grandmother, Mary Smith, her mother, Jeanie Dick and daughter, Jane Dick Aitken.

In the other photograph she is standing at the back right, next to her daughter, Janet (Jenny), with eldest daughter Jane (Jean) back left.   Her husband, Roxburgh Richmond Aitken is seated centre, with son Thomas (my grandfather) and daughter Maggie (Madge).  This was taken in Bay City in the USA after the family emigrated for two years.  I'm not sure of the date, but Roxburgh died back home in Scotland in 1910.
