Welcome to the homepage of Clann Eoghanachta. We are a
Sinnsreachd Gael (Polytheistic Gaels, following the customs of
the ancestors) group, we try to be an extended family
to all people within Clann Eoghanachta.
Our physical membership is centered around Western
Australia, although we do have close friends we consider family members
distributed around the world. We are one of the founding Clann's of
the An Cónaidhm na Tuatha na nGael, a confederation of Sinnsreachd Clanna and Tuatha.
Our mission statement is as follows:
- Reclaim the language of our Ancestors for our decendants
- Reclaim the Clanna culture of our Ancestors.
- Welcome all those that truely have the Gaelic spirit within them into the Clann
- Live true to our Culture and to our Gods
- Provide and grow a strong Clann based community for the Sinnsreachd Gael.
- Revive and recreate the spiritual practices of our Ancestors that have been lost.
- Provide an alternative to the western ideal of consumerism and self-before-the-family.
Currently Clann Eoghanachta is looking for people that would like to become part
of the Clann. If you have the Gaelic spirit in your heart and the brief speil above
interests you pleas contact us. It doesn't matter if you have a Gaelic heritage or
not, the matter is where your spirit and heart truely leads you.
For those a bit confused about what the Sinnsreachd faith is, it is best to
read over the ACTG website linked above, as well as consider it is similiar
to Asatru or Theodism that is Gaelic inspired (A not entirely close
analogy but for this moment it will have to do).
From the ACTG website briefing:
Sinnsreachd (Scots-Gaelic), or Sinsearacht (Irish
Gaelic), is a polytheistic religious movement which is attempting to revive the
Gaelic polytheistic religion, including cultural elements, as it existed in
Ireland prior to the arrival of Christianity.
Sinnsreachd is a polytheistic religion that bases its core cultural, social,
and religious doctrine off of the extant customs and superstitions of rural
Ireland and Scotland combined with modern restorations of society, culture, and
customary law gleaned through its practitioners research. While external
observers may consider Sinnsreachd to be a "neopagan" religion, it s
practitioners find that term to be highly offensive.
For those that wish to join Clann Eoghanachta
in Western Australia or are just curious, should email

Upcoming Events
Clann Eoghanachta proudly supports the idea of community events.
February 2006, Lughnasadh / La Lunasdal.
* Points to note, we are not Wiccan, we are not neo-pagan, we are not Celtic Reconstructionalists, we are
not pan-Celtic. We are polytheistic Gaels that are using the known culture, language and folklore of Ireland and Scotland and
bringing it back from the brink. Some things get modernized, most things will stay the same.
