Up until "The Wedding Singer" made him a household name, Adam Sandler in Australia was mostly known for his video hits "Happy Gilmore" and "Billy Madison", but to American audiences Adam Sander had for years been one of the stars of the TV show Saturday night live. It was through his association with this show that he launched his career into movies and thus became a big box office star of today.

We can now go back and view the beginning of the Adam Sandler story on this compilation DVD presented by Eagle Entertainment. It is chock full of Sandler's best moments on "Saturday night live".

Some sketches such as "The Gap girl" fall flat but others such as "The Denise show" and "Opera man are outright funny. If you are a Sandler fan add this DVD to your collection today otherwise rush to your nearest video store and rent it today!!!

This show was filmed on videotape and thus transfer wise the picture is not bad. The colours are muted but I didn't expect much considering the source. There was no pixel break up to be seen. There was low levels of video chroma noise.

The audio was 2 channel stereo and was what you expect from a TV show filmed 10 years ago.

This disc is well worth a look.
