The Australian Costumer's Guild brings people together who
share a love for costuming in all its forms. They run
workshops and themed events, with the National Costumer's
Ball the highlight of the year. Their website includes

ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS |
|

Each February Canberra Antiques Centre conducts a
charity antiques & collectables valuation day. Our
chosen charity, the Organ Donation Awareness Foundation,
is the sole beneficiary of all monies raised.
Every year on a widely advertised date we invite the
public to bring along to Canberra Antiques Centre as
many items as they wish. On this day our dealers donate
their time and expertise to discuss/research and
evaluate the treasures (or otherwise!) brought along,
with a $5 per item donation aiding Organ Donation
Awareness. A representative of the Organ Donation
Awareness Foundation will issue official tax deductible
receipts.
Complimentary refreshments are provided and a festive
time is had by all! For dates of our next valuation
day/fund raiser, contact Canberra Antiques Centre.
