NANAS PEARLS: Viv and Denise Bird have lived in Canberra for over 20 years and have been dealing in antiques and collectables through Nana's Pearls since 1996. We have the largest range of original Australian enamel ware in the Canberra region. Nana's Pearls also trades at the Tharwa General Store, which is one of the ACT's oldest stores, opening in 1926. Tharwa is a picturesque small village on the Murrumbidgee River a few kilometres south of Canberra. Nana's Pearls occupies most of the original residence of the store and one of the storage sheds and offers Australiana, furniture, enamel ware, china, books, collectables from the rural past as well as a huge selection of buttons, badges and costume jewellery.
