Paul Carver's
Angreaceum sesquipedale

These are two pics of my Angraecum sesquipedale.

The plant is large with about six pairs of leaves. It is grown in my epiphyte mix in a 20cm squat pot, and hung up where higher temperatures are available. My thermostat is set for a minimum of 12C here in Melbourne.

There are a number of long aerial roots. The plant is hung at the north end of the heated orchid house, so it gets a lot of light. Watering is throughout the year.

It was awarded an HCC in 2013. Flowers measure 16cm across and 17 cm in length. Under my conditions, it flowers mid October
