WJOS Treasurer's - Duties
Attend General and Committee Meeting once
Report the Financial Statement to the Committee and at General Meeting
Record all Cash in a numbered Cash Receipt Book
Record all Petty cash expenses in a Numbered Petty Cash Book
Transfer all Items from the Cash Receipt Book and the Petty Cash Book
on to an Excel spreadsheet.
Write and record any Cheques and transfer to the spreadsheet
Receive Bank statement and check for correctness
Keep the Membership list up to Date
Arrange for the Books to be Audited at end of year
The Secretary of the Club would usually inform the Treasurer what bills
have to be paid.
Total workload app 1-3 hours a month not including General and Committee
Duty of the Deputy Treasurer
The Deputy Treasure should be able to
step into the Treasures Duties on short notice in case of Sickness or
any other reason the Treasurer can't attend. To this end the Deputy will
need to spent app 1hour a month (app 3 month) with the treasurer to become
confidents in his duties.
If the workload for the Treasurer is much higher than normal, the treasure
may call on the deputy to assist him.
