LECTURERS WHAT TO SEE IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA What is it? The Western Australian Orchid Spectacular 2008 is a WA State Orchid Conference which will feature massed Orchid Displays by all the WA Orchid Societys as well as Orchid Vendors from across Australia and overseas. ----------------------------------------- Where is it? The venue chosen for the WAOS 2008 is the Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre on the corner of Abernethy Rd and Alexander St, Belmont. 5 to 10 minutes from the Domestic and International Air Terminals. 10 minutes from Perth CBD ----------------------------------------- When is it? The Western Australian Orchid Spectacular 2008 will be held between the 25th and 29th September 2008. This is also a long weekend with Monday the 29th being a public Holiday giving the event three full non-working days for the public to attend as well as Friday the 26th. There are a number of other events happening that weekend too, which would be of further interest for overseas and interstate visitors. The Perth Royal Show and the Kings Park Wildflower Week are on at the same time.
