This is a screen shot of just one of our databases Main Menus. Our databases contain horses from all over the world, but comprises horses primarily from Australia, New Zealand and the USA. At present we have 533,400 horses, which we consider is one of the larger private databases in the world, outside the major harness racing authorities. We also have a Thoroughbred database consisting of 238,000 horses from around the world. You may be interested to know that Man O'War, Seabiscuit, Citation and Spectacular Bid to name but a few are bred on our breeding methodology, as are some of the greats from years gone by such as Hyperion, St Simon, Blandford, Carbine and Chaucer.

If we do not have your horse on our database, it is simply a matter of loading it to reveal it's X Chromosome make up. Our methodology does not rely on waiting for an individual cross to become popular. We can predict in most cases which sires will be successful with which broodmares sires. Equally important is the cross with the dams maternal line, which is in our view is a much overlooked source of quality genetic material.

Our database can access the crossing information of any quality horses by a particular Sire and any Broodmare Sire. The one illustrated above is on face value is a classic cross. If we take a closer look at the Albatross/Bret Hanover cross, many of you will be aware that it has produced many top line horses including Ball and Chain 1.49.0 - $1,435,390, Conquered 1.54.3 - $856,273, Dolce 1.52.1 - $310,563, Embrace Me1.52.1 - $614,251, Fan Hanover 1.50.4 - $969,724, Jaguar Spur 1.49.2 - $1,806,473, Sonsam 1.53.2 - $820,104 and Tucson Hanover 1.51.3 - $1,071,683.

As you will note from the report shot above, the cross of Albatross over a mare by Bret Hanover produced 36 horses from 398 who earned more than $200,000.00 in stakes and have collectively won over $16 million in stakes.

Our database has the capacity to view all progeny and any subsequent progeny back Twenty generations from an individual horse both male or female. This gives us the capacity to track down where a particular line has been corrupted by a particular mare or conversely a poor broodmare sire. This can be seen in many New Zealand lines until the introduction of two great sires in Light Brigade and U Scott.

Our pedigree chart which shows five generations and shows all duplicates within six generations and any Line or In Breeding (not shown here) for any horse. Albatross for example is Line Bred to Billy Direct and Hal Dale. His Sire Meadow Skipper is Line Bred to Peter Volo and his mare Voodoo Hanover is Line Bred to Guy Axworthy.

Our database has the capacity to "Test Mate" any known sire with any dam. This gives us the capacity to identify the genetic makeup of the resultant foal in relation to the X Chromosome transfer of any proposed mating. This also enables us to assess which sire will complement your mares genetic makeup.

One of the most important aspects of our database, which gives us the ability to access the genetic sources within the pedigree of the horse (the only one in the world with this capacity). This further enables us to ascertain which are in fact excellent X Chromosome sources and from these sources we can determine the best possible sire for your mare.
We can also assess the overall quality of the genetic transfer that the mare will impart to her progeny via the X Chromosome.

This is also an invaluable aspect of our database. It gives us the capacity to easily check the performance of the progeny of broodmares by two individual stallions. From years of research we have established that mares who are bred on our methodology, such as Lismore, Three Diamonds (both carry the blood of Knight Dream maternally) and Three Mile Island etc. have the capacity to impart a strongly structured X Chromosome to their progeny.

This is often evidenced more so with their males, as they can only take the X Chromosome from their dams. When these types of mares are in turn covered with stallions that have a genetic affinity with their X Chromosome sources,
horses such as Curragh 1.51.4, Albert Albert 1.52.1, Sachem 1.54.3, Lahar 1.50.3, Lisheen 1.52.3, Lisryan 1.52.0, Liscartan 1.51.2, Threefold 1.51.1, Life Sign 1.50.3, His Alibi 1.51.2, Island Glow 1.50.0, Island Fantasy 1.50.1, Wicked Island 1.53.3 and Midnight Island 1.52.1 are the result.

Many mares however are bred with a strongly bred sire and/or dam, but they have no affinity with each other. Thus the ability of their respective progeny will be dictated by which X Chromosome they inherit, either the dams paternal one from her sire or her maternal X Chromosome from her dam.

As you will note from the screen shot of the report below, the relevant sires of the progeny of these mares are also listed. This assists us in determining in many cases which stallions have an affinity with which X Chromosome of the mare.

This report is based on the earning progeny of broodmares by Albatross out of a mare by Bret Hanover. Mares by these two stallions have produced 904 progeny, who have won stakes of over $60 million. There have been 19 (2.10%) horses who have won more than $500,000, 160 (17.70%) winners of more than $100,000 and 309 (34.18%) who have won in excess of $50,000. These mares have produced 34 (3.76%) horses who have won under 1.52.0,
173 (19.14%)winners in under 1.55.0 and 587 (64.93%) winners in 2.00.0.

A break-up on a gender basis shows males earning $40 million and females $20 million, with 127 males and 46 females winning under 1.55.0.
