The official launch of Who's been sleeping in my bed? was held at The Civic Centre Library in South Perth on 11th August, 2001. 83 people attended. Mark Hancock (Chief of Library Services) welcomed the audience and introduced Jackie. Jackie explained how the idea of starting a home swapping club came about and how this ultimately led to her decision to write the book - which evolved from a need for a resource among the home exchange community. Six guest speakers (John and Pam, John and Louvain and Fred and Ivy) talked about the countries they had visited through swapping homes and outlined how their exchanges were arranged. They shared amusing anecdotes of their home swapping experiences. The floor was then opened to the audience for questions. A book signing followed while guests enjoyed cheese and wine while mingling with each other.
