SONIC microSCSI

home

A SONIC microSCSI adapter was mounted on a standard ISA card. First, all the components were removed, then a standard DB25 cable was cut and the 25 wires soldered to the tabs. Later the adapter was mechanically attached to the card using thin metal strips and the cable itself was better positioned using a piece of string (nothing but the best). Finally, the metal braket was nibbled to accomodate the external attachements.

Power is supplied from the case power supply, but it may later be pulled off the ISA slot is it can take the current.
