About Us
Ezi-Gro Orchids was established in 1987 at its current location of
Darch (formerly Landsdale) on 2 hectares of land. Half of this area is
used for the cultivation of orchids. Most of the buildings consisting of
sheds, shade houses and glasshouses were built in the first ten years of
development.
Most of our business involves the selling of orchid plants, locally,
around Australia and overseas. This includes wholesaling and retailing.
We also sell some orchid flowers locally. Orchids for sale have been
sourced from all over the world. Also an extensive gene pool of
Cymbidiums, Paphiopedilums and Cattleyas have been put together and are
used in our current breeding program.
OUR STAFF
ROSA – Responsible for managing the nursery.
ANNE – Responsible for the operation of the laboratory and the compiling
of mail orders. Deflasking of cymbidiums plus others.
GAYE – Processes orders and serves most of the customers that visit the
nursery.
BEVERLEY – Looks after my large collection of orchids, helps with the
deflasking of cymbidiums and pots on small plants.
AFTON – Serves customers and works mostly with the cymbidiums.
LINDA and SAM – works mostly with the cymbidiums.
MUM – Breaks the community pots of cymbidiums.
