LOCATION
Found on river banks at elevations of 300-500m in detritus and moss overlying clay and limestone in Borneo.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
Leaves are mottled pale yellow green and dark green above, no purple pigmentation underneath. Leaf dimensions, 17.5 - 20 cm long and 4-6.5 cm wide.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION.
INFLORESCENCE
Solitary on a peduncle to 30cm in height.
DORSAL SEPAL
Broadly ovate to subcircular and apically acute. Margins gently undulate and reflex laterally. Greenish white with green veins basally, midway the veins blend to purple where a rosy flush paints an arch across the dorsal. Veins fade to leave a broad white margin.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Narrow and lanceolate. Colour similar to the dorsal but paler.
PETALS
Warted and ciliate on both undulate margins and dip just below horizontal . Green, tinted rosy purple distally. Dark green veins tranverse the midlines of the petals.

 LABELLUM
Green and flushed with chestnut brown or khaki frontally.

LOCATION
Clings to the roots of trees in limestone hills at elevations of 600 - 1000 m in northern Sumatra.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
4-6 green leaves, barred beneath with distinct stripes consisting of rows of maroon dots. Bristles emerge from the leaf margins. 15-25cm in length and 3-5 cm in width.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION
INFLORESCENCE
Flowers sequentially with many flowers on a peduncle 15-20 cm long.
DORSAL SEPAL
Creamy white border surrounding a green centre. Ovate in shape with ciliate margins and pubescent over the outer surface.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Narrow, yellow-green ciliate and pubescent on the outer surface.
PETALS
The twisted, ciliate petals are held very nearly horizontally and recurve slightly. Cream to white, spotted with purple and linear.
 LABELLUM
Rosy lavender and spotted with minute purple dots.

FLOWERING SEASON
Summer and continuing for 10-18 months

Differs from Paph chamberlainianum in its foliar characteristics.

LOCATION
Can  be found in humus or lithophytically but most often epiphytically at elevations of 250-1600 m in Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Java, Borneo and the Celebes.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
Large yellow green leaves measure 25-45 cm long and 2.8-6 cm wide.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION
INFLORESCENCE
3-7 flowers on an inflorescence to 50 cm.
DORSAL SEPAL
Pale green suffused with brownish purple at the base. Keeled by its midvein and ovate in shape. Appears narrow due to reflexing of its basal margin.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Smaller and is bicarinate and elliptical. Pale green in colour. Margins are undulate and ciliate.
PETALS
Spatulate petals execute one full spiral. Margins are ciliate. Pale yellow proximally, overlaid with purple spotting while the distal region is rosy purple.
LABELLUM
Khaki coloured.

FLOWERING SEASON
Spring or early Summer.
