LOCATION
Plants are epiphytic or humus terrestrials found in dense forests at 400-500 m elevation in the Philippines.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
Pale green with yellow margins, 15-30cm in length and 5cm in width.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION
INFLORESCENCE
3-5 flowers on a pubescent of 25-40cm.
DORSAL SEPAL
White, veined with maroon. Ovate and acute to subacute.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Similarly marked and smaller in shape.
PETALS
White, veined with maroon. Linear in shape, they exhibit no spiraling. Short for this group, pendulous with round apices. Margins are fringed with cilia.
LABELLUM
Yellow or tawny buff in colour, veined with green. Apically, a shallow groove bisects the pouch not quite producing lobes.

FLOWERING SEASON
Summer.

LOCATION
Found clinging to steep cliffs at elevations of 600-1200 m in Borneo.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
Leaf length up to 60cm and width of 5 cm. Green.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION
INFLORESCENCE 2-4 flowers on a peduncle up to 45 cm.
DORSAL SEPAL
Pale green, cream or yellow and striped with purple. Ovate and acute.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Similar but reduced in size.
PETALS
Outspread linear petals are held just a few degrees below horizontal. Yellow or cream in colour and striped with maroon. Margins are undulate and ciliate proximally.
LABELLUM
Yellow to tawny and suffused with maroon.

FLOWERING SEASON
Summer.
