LOCATION
Inhabits rocky soil at elevations of 450 - 700 m in the Philippines.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
Leaves are faintly tessellated above, no purple underneath. Leaf length is 12-20 cm and width 3-4 cm.

FLOWER DESCRIPTION
INFLORESCENCE
1-2 flowers at a height of 20-25 cm.
DORSAL SEPAL
Broadly ovate to subcircular and apically acute. Greenish white marked with 11-13 green or maroon veins of unequal length.
VENTRAL SEPAL
Concave ventral is ovate to elliptic, green with darker green veins.
PETALS
Held at approximate 45 degree angle. They are oblanceolate and are green with green veins proximally, the distal two thirds are richly suffused with coppery bronze or with maroon and are veined in dark maroon. Blackish maroon warts occur along the superior margin as well as upon the mesial surface of the petals.
LABELLUM
Similar to the petals in colour, exhibiting copper or maroon pigmentation, with a green rim and green beneath the toe.

FLOWERING SEASON
Winter and early Spring.
