Who are we? We are a group of military history buffs and living historians who depict a typical
infantry soldier that went to Gallipoli, France & Belgium between the years of 1915 to 1918. We don't focus on a particular unit of the conflict but we encourage all members to model their uniforms on a
battalion/unit raised in Western Australia. Overall we wish to honour all Australians who served in the Great War. Help keep the Anzac spirit alive.
The WAGWLHA is always on the lookout for new members, whether you wish to be a soldier, civilian or medical corp, all who wish to participate are welcome. We have small
membership fee and we do expect all members to try to equip themselves withing a year of joining. We will provide you with contacts and as much help to get your kit together including loaning what spares we
have. You must be over 18yrs to be a uniformed member. Presently the group uses only deactivated firearms but it is our intension to form a firing party in the future. To participate in this aspect you will be
expected to apply for a WA shooters licence and have a properly registered firearm. Please click the mail us icon to send us an E mail to find out more. Remember EVERYONE is welcome, including families. |
