Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat is manufactured using low alkali e-glass by specially designed, state of the art, technology that guarantees uniformity of fiber distribution and a superior control on nominal weight. This result is uniformly consistent properties in the end product. Being emulsion bonded, the chopped strand mat demonstrates superior mouldability and handling characteristics, which have distinct advantages when moulding complicated profiles in difficult working environments.

MANUFACTURING

Chopped Strand Mat is manufactured from continuous strands composed of low alkali 'E' Glass Fiber with silane size, which after chopping has been bonded with an emulsion binder. The chopped strand mat shall be uniform in colour and texture. It shall be free from wet patches, oil and greasy spots and other contamination.
