Discover Kangaroo Valley, the hidden gem of the NSW South Coast.

The first recorded sighting of Kangaroo Valley by a European was in 1812 when explorer George Evans described it as a place 'no painter could beautify'.

Today, Kangaroo Valley continues to inspire visitors with its beauty.

Soaring sandstone escarpments enclose the lush river valley below providing a diverse environment— the perfect setting for ruged bush walks, canoeing, scenic drives, romantic picnics or just sitting back to soak up the serenity.

The village of Kangaroo Valley is home to Australia's oldest remaining suspension bridge rebuilt in 1898. The main street is heritage-listed and dotted with charming shops and art galleries, cafés and restaurants.

From here, it’s a quick hop to Jervis Bay and the beautiful beaches of the South Coast. Just over Cambewarra mountain is the historic town of Berry and it's an easy 30 minutes to the beautiful Southern Highlands by way of Fitzroy Falls.

Welcome to a very special place— welcome to Kangaroo Valley.
