AGM ride to Kamballup
Great weather for the ride up Millbrook Road to Mt Barker Bakery
where we stocked up on food etc before heading down the
Woogenellup Road to Kamballup. This road is brilliant, swooping
bends, smooth road and fabulous views of the Stirlings and
Porongurups especially when the day is as good as this.
Once again we hired the Kamballup Hall (for a modest $8),
Warwick brought out the coffee and tea and hot water was
available. Good to see Greg Webb back from a long stint away
from Albany and new member Adrian Pagett as well as Dave
Wallace’s son on the ride.
After eating lunch we had the AGM, there were a lot of apologies
with many of our Club members away.But positions filled easily
with new Assistant Treasurer being Steve Lucas taking over from
Andy Burn who did a great job, thanks Andy.
There will now be a ride committee to help organise the
Club calendar, which is a great help. After the meeting we had a
great run back to Albany.
